Originally known as Indialantic-by-the-Sea, this strip of land was founded by Ernest Kouwen-Hoven, a developer who dreamed of turning the property into an exclusive seaside resort. He began planning it out in 1916 and thee years later built a bridge that connected the mainland to his new resort town.
Today, Indialantic remains a quiet and exclusive residential community that caters to a wide range of homeowners including young couples, professionals, and retirees. Here, residents spend their downtime fishing, surfing, and relaxing on the beach. You’ll also find plenty of locally owned shops, restaurants, and bars in this coastal town.
